Ranking
How does this ranking system work?
Every player builds up a separate ranking for every individual game. For instance, if you know a lot about football but not a lot about showbusiness, then your ranking for the Football Quiz will be high and your ranking for the Showbiz Quiz will be lower.
There are 5 different ranking levels:
- Beginner(during the first 5 games)
- Novice(up to 1300 points)
- Advanced(1301-2000 points)
- Master(2001-2200 points)
- Pro(over 2200 points)
During the first 5 games within a certain game, you have no ranking at all but are automatically classed as a Beginner. After that, your ranking is determined according to your success.
For every £0.87 profit or loss, your score goes up or down according to the following schedule:
- Beginner+/- 20 points
- Novice+/- 20 points
- Advanced+/- 10 points
- Master+/- 1 point
- Pro+/- 1 point
Example: if you win £2 in a game, this will earn you 40 ranking points.
